I spent some more time making a sculpture. It is inspired by Lovecraftian horror. Along with his monsters, Lovecraft also creates evil Gods. My train of thought was: We associate gods with space, the sky, the stars, being above us in some way. Therefore what about a pantheon of Gods that orbit around a supreme all powerful God like planets; like an orrery.
The body is made from aluminum wire, string and foam board. The spheres are made from paper and the details are made from green stuff modelling putting. The whole thing is painted with acrylic.
