Cthulhu is described by Lovecraft has having a beard of tentacles or feelers.
I carved the lines onto the feelers using a metal sculpting tool. I will use the technique of partially smoothing over the lines. It really needs to be shown in a photograph, but it has the effect of making the folds in flesh more realistic. I have also attached the right wing on the the figures back.
