I am very pleased with how I have done the clouds in this picture. I have drawn the darkness by shading with an 8B pencil, and then smudging it with my fingers
I think however I will redraw the furs on the characters coat. I am convinced I can do them more realistically. Also I am convinced from this distance they would be a lot smaller. I will also make the figure taller. At the moment I think the proportions are off. They make him look very dwarf like. See some of the artwork that inspired me with the links below.
