Inking
I completed the acrylic work on the head today. I added some pupils to make the eyes more expressive. I also put some agrax earth shade on the face. I hope this gives the doll more depth and makes it look more used and old.
The next thing to be done is seal the head in resin, so it is not malleable to the touch. I have also put on some Reikland fleshshade to give it more colour variety. I will show this better in my next post. I just wanted to make the doll look scruffy and used, rather than pristine. I want to make the view think of folk horror movies like Robin Hardy’s 1073 film, The Wicker Man
