I started adding claws to the edges of the wings. I will add several to each wing rather than just one. This is one way I hope the sculpture will be original. I want the wings to be more than just a bat wing.
It isn’t visible here but something else I have started doing is the ‘limb’ of the wing. It is very interesting designing muscles from memory alone. Not using reference photos is the challenge I have set my self for this sculpture.
