Also got your email about the man who gave them the photos. I think I know who he is. He has been causing trouble in town for years now, with his ramblings about human sacrifice and black magic. What makes this all the more worrying is how long he might have been sharing this garbage with the kids. We’ve found something that humanity is better off just not knowing. I should have realized, from the moment the dissections started. I’m looking at the photos now. I couldn’t recognize what species the animals were after Dr Massy was through with them. And now all my colleagues are dead too. But the experiment isn’t over yet. Its conducting itself now. There is something alive in those sewers; something that doesn’t care about progress or the future of humanity or the goddamn Nobel prize: just a big slimy bastard that want’s to eat anyone who comes with arms reach. I’m writing this so that if I don’t escape, our work wont be in vain.

Normally you can only hear birds and frogs in the bayous of the deep south. But sometimes you hear footsteps and screaming. No one knows what’s lurking there. The country folk insist that its a local who got lost. He couldn’t find his way back to the village, went mad and now he makes a living robbing travellers; Gotta feed yourself somehow. But there’s other stories of something a bit……..weirder going on. Some claim to have seen a creature beneath the surface of the water, a bit like an amphibian in appearance, but as cunning and desperate as a man.
