I bought the hard variety of monster clay for making the heads of the dolls. This kind needs to be heated up in an oven before it can be shaped.
I first found this type of clay when I did SFX makeup. Its normally used for sculpting prosthetics. I am using the hard variety because I need a type of clay that wont disfigure when touched. I also hope the craft resin will help the heads of the dolls stay solid. I used metal sculpting dolls to create the look I want. This clay can be purchased from Neills Materials.
