This is the final resin figurine which I molded yesterday. I made the mold out of silicone. I then fixed the two halves together using DIY clamps.
I may have poured in too much resin but I have very pleased with how this has turned out. I was terrified it was going to leak out of the side of the mold. I appears to have hardened a lot quicker than the manufacturer said it would. I am painting it with acrylic. For the skin I will do a combination of brown, black and green. I was going to paint this thing in a stone texture as if it were a statue. But I think this is more interesting, Perhaps for the next one.
