Applying the wings will be the hardest part of making this sculpture. I will mold this sculpture in silicone. It will be very difficult to extract the clay from the wing areas of the mold. That is why I am using silicone. It will mean the mold has a lot of flexibility to it.
I am wondering if I have made the wings too big for the body. But to be honest I think too big will be better then too small.
