Pale Doll
Finished. This artwork is available to buy at the Dark Art Movement website. The monster clay has proved surprisingly strong. I did not need to apply a sealant too it. Maybe the acrylic paint is performing this role.
I am particularly proud of the structure of the face. The shape the eyes and their proportion in relation to the nose are exactly right.
I touched up the holes in the fabric with reds and browns. I wanted it to feel eerily alive despite the face that it is clearly a doll. Hopefully my artwork will make the audience ask questions. Like, who created the doll, is it supposed to by alive and what was that person trying to achieve. Its this kind of thing that will help your work live in the minds of the audience. As I have said before; the imagination of the audience is your canvas.
