I am making the background darker. I hope this will provide a starker contrast with the sea and the diamond
I have been trying for a while to make the background, that is, the sky, a very even shade. I think the best way to do this is to make it as dark as possible. I have also been considering if I should put a name on the back of the ship, or just some more decoration. I was thinking about Erebus or Terror, as this artwork is inspired by the Franklin Expedition of 1845, but I think I will try and come up with something original.
