Sunny day for Samhain Art at Leighton Buzzard Market on 25th. The sphynx cat sold. This pleases me a lot because the drawing was done without any digital manipulation at all. It’s a good example of subtle scariness. The sphynx can’t cannot be described as belonging to the horror genre, but it still has a kind of subtly unnerving feeling too it, as if its a creature from another planet. When running a market stall, getting people talking is important. It makes them linger longer and there’s more chance they’ll buy from you.
